After noticing an abnormality in his legs, Gabe Palazollo was diagnosed with cerebral palsy.
In January, it was determined that Gabe was a candidate at DMC Children’s Hospital of Michigan for a selective dorsal rhizotomy. During this procedure the spine is opened and the affected nerves are identified and amputated away.
Although it was believed that it would take a minimum of 6 months for Gabe to show improvement, he surprised everyone and began walking after 10 days!
